Responsibilities:

1.     Strategic Growth Planning:

·       Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth in Modern Trade channels, with a specific focus on key players like DMart, Reliance, etc.

·       Identify opportunities for expansion and market share increase.

2.     Relationship Building with Modern Trade Partners:

·       Cultivate strong relationships with decision-makers and key personnel at Indian Modern Trade chains.

·       Collaborate closely with Modern Trade partners to understand their requirements and align strategies.

3.     Sales Target Achievement:

·       Set ambitious sales targets for the Modern Trade segment and work proactively to achieve or surpass them.

·       Regularly evaluate sales performance and implement corrective measures as necessary.

4.     Product Placement and Visibility:

·       Ensure optimal product placement and visibility in Modern Trade stores.

·       Work with merchandising teams to implement attractive displays and promotional setups.

5.     Promotional Campaigns and Offers:

·       Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute targeted promotional campaigns for Modern Trade channels.

·       Implement attractive offers and promotions to boost product visibility and sales.

6.     Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

·       Gather and analyze market intelligence related to Modern Trade trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences.

·       Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

7.     Sales Reporting and Analysis:

·       Prepare detailed sales reports, offering insights into achievements, challenges, and market feedback.

·       Provide actionable recommendations for continuous improvement based on sales analysis.

Skills:

·       Modern Trade Sales Expertise: Proven experience in driving sales growth within Indian Modern Trade chains like DMart, Reliance, etc.

·       Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in Modern Trade partners.

·       Sales Target Achievement: Track record of achieving or surpassing sales targets in the Modern Trade segment.

·       Product Placement and Merchandising: Understanding of effective product placement and merchandising strategies.

·       Market Analysis: Ability to analyze Modern Trade trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.

Previous Experience:

·       Successful track record in Modern Trade sales growth within the Indian retail landscape.

·       Experience working with key Modern Trade partners such as DMart, Reliance, and others.

Preferred Location Experience:

·       Previous sales experience specific to the targeted region or market.
