Responsibilities:

1.     Market Expansion in North and East India:

·       Develop and execute strategies to expand the presence of the food brand in the general trade market across North and East India.

·       Identify key opportunities for growth and market penetration.

2.     Customer Acquisition and Relationship Management:

·       Actively pursue new business opportunities and acquire new customers within the general trade segment.

·       Cultivate strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.

3.     Achievement of Sales Targets:

·       Set ambitious sales targets for the North and East regions and work towards achieving or surpassing them.

·       Regularly assess sales performance and implement corrective measures as required.

4.     Distribution Network Enhancement:

·       Enhance the distribution network for the food brand by onboarding new distributors and optimizing existing channels.

·       Ensure efficient distribution to maximize product availability.

5.     Market Intelligence and Competitor Analysis:

·       Gather and analyze market intelligence to stay abreast of competitor activities, market trends, and consumer preferences.

·       Utilize insights to refine sales strategies and enhance product positioning.

6.     Strategic Promotions and Campaigns:

·       Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute impactful promotional campaigns tailored for the North and East regions.

·       Coordinate promotional activities to elevate brand visibility and drive sales.

7.     Sales Reporting and Analysis:

·       Prepare and submit comprehensive sales reports, offering insights into achievements, challenges, and market feedback.

·       Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on sales analysis.

·       Sales Strategy Development: Proven expertise in developing and implementing effective sales strategies for the general trade segment.

·       Customer Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills for establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders.

·       Sales Target Achievement: Demonstrated success in achieving or surpassing sales targets in competitive markets.

·       Distribution Network Optimization: Experience in expanding and optimizing distribution networks for consumer goods.

·       Market Analysis: Ability to analyze market trends, competitor activities, and consumer behavior.

Previous Experience:

·       Successful track record in sales, particularly in the general trade segment, within North and East India.

·       Experience working with food brands and a deep understanding of the food industry.

Preferred Location Experience:

·       Prior sales experience specifically in the North and East Indian markets.
